So, I finally finished one of the things I was knitting. In making this, (actually, I've had a couple failed attempts) I learned to use double point needles to knit in the round, since circular needles only work down to a certain diameter.
My previous attempt at an iphone cozy failed because the yarn I used didn't felt or shrink, and I made it way too big, cause I was expecting it to shrink a lot.
This time I used a more basic wool yarn, and it felted decently, though it did take boiling it, which smelled lots.
But its quite cute. I'm not sure how much I will actually use it, because I like my phone naked.

I really like the giant orange buttons. I have two left over - not sure what I should do with them. They're so cute.

I've been knitting a lot more than usual lately, because there is a yarn store on my walk home from work :)

9:08 pm - Espresso Grinder Adventures
This weekend I impulsively went to the Bodum store, and bought one of their burr grinders, which was on sale because they have a new model, and becuase its a piece of shit.
what the hell is a burr ginder?

They tested it in the store, it worked. I got it home, and it didn't work which was super annoying and disappointing. So Sunday i returned it, and got small espresso cups and saucers, which are much more satisfying than the broken crappy grinder.

I'll have to work on getting a good grinder, i'm looking at the Gaggia MDF model (look it up if you care to)
and i really want an isomac venus espresso machine.
Pretty So i'll have to save up for that.

Have I mentioned that i love coffee (particularly espresso)
